Youth Education Programs
Youth Sunday School
Come Join Us For Food, Fun, Faith & Fellowship each Sunday morning. Are you ready for a different kind of curriculum? Middle and High School students will participate in discussion groups including topics on "The Top 13 Questions about God" and "The 13 Most Important Bible Lessons for teenagers." We also have uncommon games and uncommon dramas, skits and sketches. So, be ready for something DIFFERENT!
Club 45 (4th - 5th grade)
is a very special club just for 4th and 5th graders. Under the leadership of Kathy Smith and the direction of Christ Church Youth Minister, Rev. Tim Backus, this program will meet after school on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 2:45-4:00pm in the undercroft of Christ Church. Club 45 combines Bible Study through a variety of games and other fun activities to help our 4th & 5th grade students grow and mature in their relationships with Christ.
Junior High EYC: (6th-8th grade)
The Junior High program meets twice a week in the undercroft of Christ Church. You do not need to be a member of Christ Church to participate in our Junior High programs. If video clips, pizza and bowling while talking about God sounds good to you, then contact the Youth Ministries department for more info! We look forward to seeing you!
J.H. weekly schedule:
Bible Study: Wednesday afternoons, 2:45-4:00pm. Pizza provided.
Junior EYC: Sunday afternoons, 4:00-5:30pm. Occasionally, Junior EYC will meet outside the 4-5:30pm time slot depending on special events.
J.H. monthly events:
Calendar is in progress. Stay tuned for exciting, upcoming events!
Senior High EYC: (9th-12th grade)
Meets Wednesday evenings, 7-8:30 typically at the Church, though other places such as Ozone Pizza are fairly common as well. Our mission is to provide and foster a fun, safe and positive atmosphere where all youth are welcome regardless of what church they belong to or where they are on their faith journey, and to guide one another towards becoming a loving, respectful and supportive community, a community based on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Through prayer, scripture, mission trips, service and fellowship, using anything from games to challenging discussions, we seek to explore and understand how God interacts in our daily lives through the Holy Spirit. As we grow into adulthood, we seek to strengthen our relationships with our families, friends and neighbors, and most importantly, with Christ.
