MISSION TRIP
Mission Trip 2009 Mission Trip Complete!!! Fifty-three houses and hundreds of lives renovated in six days! Christ Church Youth Ministries has completed its third annual mission trip and it was as big a success as was hoped, thanks to all the support from Christ Church Parish, financially, resourcefully, and most importantly, prayerfully. Making a difference such as this in people’s lives is one of the most important things a youth community can provide. Mission trips make a huge impact on those whom are served, and a dramatic effect on the relational and spiritual lives of those who serve. Youth Events in the Diocese and in Province IV
Several times throughout the year, youth events are organized on a larger scale throughout the diocese and beyond. All youth are encouraged to participate in these events including diocesan events at our local conference center, Camp Beckwith, and programs such as Winterlight at Kanuga, the Diocesan Conference Center in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. These youth events are filled with fun activities, games and music that will rock your socks off, friendships that can last a lifetime, and programs and worship that lead to a dramatic impact on a person’s spiritual life. The office of youth ministry will publish more information about all of these phenomenal youth offerings on the bulletin boards outside of the youth minister’s office.
