Making a Pledge

Most of us at Christ Church make our pledge annually during the Every-Member Canvass that takes place in the Fall. This year’s stewardship campaign, “The Blessings of Belonging” takes place during October.

Your can actually make a pledge anytime, though. Just call or visit Tim Heindl, the parish administrator, and ask him to send you a pledge card. The card you’ll receive is a simple form to fill out, with which you’ll provide the parish with your basic information. You’ll also fill in what amount you’d like to contribute to Christ Church (usually during a calendar year) and how you’d like to pay it (weekly, monthly, yearly, for instance). You’re asked to sign your pledge card, and return it to Mr. Heindl’s office. It’s that easy!

Pledges of assets other than money can also be made (stock sales or real estate for instance), and Mr. Heindl will be glad to discuss those possibilities with you.

Christ Church, as a constituent part of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, is a 501(c)3 institution, making your contributions tax-deductible. Regular statement are sent to all contributors showing your contributions.

PAYING YOUR PLEDGE -

1. By check - Simply place you check in your pledge envelope (provided by the Business office) and put it into the collection plate on Sunday or mail to the church office.

2. Cash - If you contribute cash, use  you pledge envelope and write your name in the space allocated, and put it in the collection plate on Sunday.

3. Online bill-pay - Contact your bank for this convenient way to pay your pledge. Your bank will automatically send your pledge to the church.
